Marie was formerly a hostage by her Husband that was rescued by Jake Hawkfield and his Squad. Marie was a victim of abuse by her husband, she claims that he is extremly violent and threatened to kill her on multiple occasions. Currently she is going to go to trial in a attempt to make sure that he goes to prison. However, his defendents claim that her husband is mentally ill and does not deserve to go to prison. Marie is frightened of the fact that he will be free to roam the streets and possibly kill her.
Marie had sent a letter to Jake in a attempt to have him as her support. She seems to show somewhat of a love interest in Jake given the quotes "I don't know who else to talk to, no other police officer has been as gentle as you".
